Cookie Policy
When you use the website, 'Cookies' may be placed on your Device to remember certain choices when you return to the website or to offer you certain functionalities. Vorwerk BENELUX BV, a company under Belgian law with its registered office at 1800 Vilvoorde, Mechelsesteenweg 586 C and company number 1005.465.871 (hereinafter "Vorwerk") attaches great importance to compliance with Cookie regulations. This Cookie policy describes the conditions under which Vorwerk uses the data collected during browsing on Vorwerk's websites (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Vorwerk Sites" or individually as a "Site"). When you visit the Vorwerk Sites for the first time, you can consent to the use of Cookies by clicking on the designated button, or obtain more information by clicking on the banner on the homepage. You have the choice to accept all Cookies used on the Site, refuse them all, or accept them in a differentiated manner, by purpose or by Cookie. The User who has consented to the use of one or more Cookies can withdraw their consent at any time, according to the conditions described in this Cookie policy.
“Cookies” are files that are placed and/or read when you visit the Vorwerk Sites on your Device, and which record information relating to your browsing on the Site.
“Device” refers to any device that provides access to the Site, namely a desktop or mobile computer, smartphone, tablet, video game console, connected television, voice assistant, or other terminal device connected to a public telecommunications network.
“User” refers to any person who views the Vorwerk Sites, whether or not they proceed to make a purchase.
Cookies are text files that record information relating to your internet browsing. These files are automatically placed in memory or on your hard drive by the Site when you visit it. A Cookie cannot contain viruses. It cannot be used to retrieve personal data from your hard drive, read your email address, or obtain personal information. Only the publisher of the Cookie in question can read or modify the information stored in it.
There are different types of Cookies. Cookies are placed directly on the Vorwerk Sites by Vorwerk (“First-party Cookies”) or by Vorwerk’s partners (“Third-party Cookies”).
3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Their sole purpose is to enable or facilitate electronic communication, or they are strictly necessary for providing an online communication service requested by Users. They allow the User to use the essential functions of the Vorwerk Sites. Without these Cookies, the User cannot use the Site normally. Under applicable regulations, these Cookies only require information from the User to be placed and/or read on their Device and do not allow behavioral or identification tracking. In accordance with current regulations, they are exempt from obtaining the User’s consent to be placed or read on their Device.
3.2. Functional Cookies
Functional Cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionalities and personalization. They may be set by us or by third parties whose services we use on our Sites.
3.3. Analytical Cookies
Analytical Cookies help us learn more about the type and volume of website visits and their origin, thereby continuously improving our website’s appeal. We use Cookies to find out which of our websites are particularly popular and which are less popular, and how visitors navigate them. We also receive this information in aggregated form from third parties who support us with analysis. These Cookies help compile statistics on the frequency and use of various elements that make up the Vorwerk Sites (sections and content visited, navigation paths). They allow Vorwerk to improve the relevance and ergonomics of the Sites.
3.4. Cookies for Marketing Purposes
These Cookies are set directly by our website or by our advertising partners. They make it possible to create profiles based on your browsing behavior and show you personalized advertisements. Although no actual personal reference is established, the Cookies can uniquely identify your browser and your Device. These Cookies remember the User’s previous visit to the Vorwerk Sites and Vorwerk may share this information with third parties, including advertisers. Although these Cookies can track Users’ visits to the Vorwerk Sites and other sites, they generally cannot personally identify Users.
3.5. Other Types of Trackers
Other types of trackers than Cookies may also be used. This is the case, for example, with web beacons, small graphic images that can be integrated into the Vorwerk Sites or into emails we send you, which are usually not visible to the User. They make it possible to track the User’s interaction with the Vorwerk Sites or Vorwerk newsletters. They help us understand whether you have read our newsletter and clicked the links it contains, so that we can offer you deals tailored to your interests. Embedded scripts or pixels are other types of trackers, in the form of code designed to collect information about your interactions with the Vorwerk Sites, such as the links you click. The code is temporarily downloaded to your Device from our web server or that of a third-party service provider. It is only active while you are connected to the Site and is then deactivated or deleted. These technologies depend on certain Cookies. As a result, the aforementioned technologies will not work if Cookies are disabled.

Vorwerk may include third-party Cookies on the Sites that enable content from the Vorwerk Sites to be shared with other people. The Vorwerk Sites contain applications linked to various social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), called “social plugins.” When the User requests a page of a Site that contains one of these plugins, their browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the social network concerned. The content of the plugin is then sent directly by that social network to the User’s browser and integrated into the web page.
Social networks can place a Cookie on your computer that can identify the User, in particular when using functions to express opinions about content or a post, or simply because your account on the relevant social network is active in the same browser (logged-in session) while browsing the Site.
Specifically, we integrate YouTube content at various points on our website using YouTube API services. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit a page with embedded YouTube content and a video is played, a connection is established between your Device and YouTube’s servers. Your IP address, the URL of our website and, where applicable, other information are transmitted to YouTube and Cookies are used with your consent. If you are logged in to Google at that time, the data are assigned to your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out of your account before visiting our website.
Vorwerk has no control over the process used by social networks and other partners to collect information about your browsing behavior on the Vorwerk Sites and to link that data to personal data they already hold. To learn more about the purpose and scope of data collection, processing and use by social networks to which you belong, as well as your rights and the ability to change settings to protect your privacy, please refer to the terms and conditions and the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant social networks and partners.

The use of Cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the Vorwerk Sites is subject to the User’s consent.
The User’s consent is expressed freely, specifically, informed, and unambiguously, by a declaration or a clear affirmative action. The User’s consent to the use of Cookies is expressed in the cookies banner that appears from the User’s first connection to the Site. The User may also give or withdraw consent at any time during their browsing on the Sites by clicking the “Cookies” icon visible at the bottom left of all pages of the Sites.
If there is no clear positive action demonstrating the User’s consent to the use of Cookies, it is assumed that the User has refused such use. Therefore, the User who continues browsing the Site, closes the cookies banner or clicks outside this banner to make it disappear, is deemed to have refused the use of Cookies on the Site.
The consent given by the User is strictly limited to the use of Cookies on the Site. There are no consequences attached to the User’s refusal to use Cookies on the Site. The User retains overall access to the Site.
The choice expressed by Users on the Site, whether consent or refusal, is recorded by Vorwerk so that Users are not approached again for a certain period. This choice is retained for a maximum of three (3) months from the time it is expressed. After this period, the User’s consent will again be required for Vorwerk to place Cookies on their Device.
8.1. On Vorwerk websites
On the User’s first connection to the Site, Vorwerk provides a cookies banner that displays functionality allowing the User to accept or refuse the use of all Cookies, or to accept such use in a differentiated way, by purpose or per Cookie. By clicking the cross at the top right of the banner, the User can disable the use of all Cookies.
A “Cookies” button is also available to Users on the Vorwerk Sites, permanently accessible at the bottom left of all pages of the Site, which provides direct access to the cookies settings module.
8.2. In Your Browser
Each browser is configured differently. This is described in your browser’s help menu and lets you know how to change cookie-related options:
- Internet Explorer
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Opera
- Safari
You can configure your browser software so that Cookies are stored on your Device or systematically refused. You can also regularly delete Cookies from your Device via your browser. However, remember to configure all browsers on your different Devices (tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.).
In connection with the use of Cookies and other trackers as described in this policy, Vorwerk may process personal data about you. For more information on the processing of your personal data and the rights you have, please refer to our privacy policy. You can consult our privacy policy via our Site.
The data collected are essential to achieve the objectives pursued by each Cookie. They are intended only for authorized Vorwerk departments and/or the company that issues Third-party Cookies.
The different categories of data collected and processed in connection with the Vorwerk Sites may be transferred to service providers located outside the European Union. Information thus transferred to third countries may be subject to legitimate requests for access by local authorities based on local laws. These data transfers are governed by a cross-border agreement drawn up in accordance with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses currently in force, and by the implementation of additional technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of this data.
Vorwerk reserves the right to make changes to the provisions of this Cookie Policy and invites the User to consult it regularly to stay informed of any new provisions. The link in the cookies banner on the Vorwerk Sites refers the User to the Cookie Policy in its most recent version and therefore to the version applicable to the User’s session.
