Enjoy gentle cooking that keeps ingredients intact. This simmering basket helps you prepare rice, potatoes, and vegetables with confidence and ease. Your side dishes stay practical to make and easy to handle in everyday cooking. It also gives you more flexibility, because you can use it for steaming, straining, and filtering. The integrated lid adds reassurance by helping prevent overfilling during use.
The Thermomix® Simmering Basket TM7 is designed for use inside the mixing bowl and is ideal for cooking side dishes such as rice, potatoes, or vegetables. Food is gently steam-cooked in the basket without being chopped, which helps keep nutrients in the food.
Its versatile design also allows you to use it for filtering fruit and vegetable juices or as a sieve. For added safety, the basket includes a lid that helps prevent overfilling. The lid is permanently attached to the basket and must not be removed.
